This is a rare opportunity to own this meticulously researched anf highly sought-after Titanic prop paper contact ticket similar to those used by the White Star Line back in 1912! These props are professionally printed using the best quality materials. They are created using traditional film and television art department techniques for added authenticity and so are perfect for on-screen or display use.
Note: This auction is for a 1st Class / Saloon style ticket as pictured. The ticket has RMS Titanic listeed as the ship but all the other sections have been left blank. The paper ticket features perforated edge and ticket counterpart section and measures approximately 260mm x 210mm. The cream / off-white tickets may differ in colour according to your monitor display setting calibrations.
Trivia: The post-sinking scenes in the block-buster hit were shot in a 350,000 gallon (1,300,000 litre) tank where the frozen corpses were created by applying a powder on the actors that then crystallized when exposed to water. Wax was applied to hair and clothes to create a wet look.
