This is a rare opportunity to own these highly sought-after Aliens-inspired prop biochem laboratory specimen sample jars! These reproduction props are professionally created using the best quality materials. They are created using traditional film and television art department techniques for added authenticity and so are perfect for on-screen or display use. There are two styles of sample vials available as pictured:

Weyland Corp: USCSS Prometheus / LV-223 c2093 - Grey + Yellow Vial
Weyland-Yutani: USCSS Covenant / Planet 4 c2104 - Grey + Blue Vial

Note: The prop specimen sample glass jars measure approximately 98mm in length. The black clay slime / putty sample contained within the jars can be stretched and reformed but will extremely slowly ooze back to eventually settle back to one single mass. Depending on the orientation of the vial during storage or transit the material may settle differently to the one pictured although we may ship the vial and black sample separately (with the black putty in a airtight ziplock bag so you can get to squish it and shape it before rolling it up and inserting it within the vial ready for display.)

Important Note: The black clay slime / putty sample is not liquid nor is it entirely solid, it is something in between although may feel quite solid almost like a modelling dough. We do not advise poking fingers into the vial… as you may well get your digit stuck! Although not recommended, if you wish to remove the ‘Plagiarus Praepotens' sample we would suggest safely extracting it using a ice lolly stick instead!

Trivia: Ridley Scott decided against featuring the original Xenomorph (the titular Alien of the film series) in the film, as "the sequels squeezed him dry, he did very well... and no way am I going back there." Instead, this being an indirect prequel to Alien (1979), he decided to feature a Xenomorph ancestor/parent. However, criticism from fans who complained about the absence of the famous creature after the film's release made Scott change his mind, and include the creature in the sequel Alien: Covenant (2017).
