Important Note: This pot contains empty capsules of a fictional medication that was created specially for Elysium and is not a facsimile of, or similar to any existing product past or present. These are reproduction props are solely intended for entertainment novelty and collecting purposes.
This is a rare opportunity to own this highly sought-after Elysium-inspired pills container as prescribed to a highly-irradiated Max DeCosta by the Armadyne medibot and subsequently seen throughout the film! This prescription container is professionally printed using the best quality materials. It is created using traditional film and television art department techniques for added authenticity and so are perfect for on-screen or display use. This labeled pot of capsules consists of:
Versamex - Clear Pill Container / White Lid: 'Miporol' Label
Versamexs - Approx. 15 Empty White / Blue Capsules
Note: The prop capsules are empty and contain nothing whatsoever. The clear plastic pill container comes directly from a supplier of medical products where they are stacked into each other for transport meaning they may show light signs of handling and/or faint scratches from where they have been stacked together just like the originals. The container has a Versamex Medical Technologies ‘Miporol’ label and the white lid is labelled with a pale grey Armadyne logo.
Trivia: The main role was first offered to Ninja, a South African rapper, who despite being a fan of District 9 (2009) (he has a D9 tattoo on his inner lip) did not take the role. The role was then offered to rapper Eminem, who also turned it down. So Neill Blomkamp moved on to Matt Damon as his next choice.
