This is a rare opportunity to own these highly sought-after and screen-accurate pair of dice from the fictional Casino de Isthmus City. The dice are essentially new old-stock from the late 1980s and were created by the same manufacturer as the ones produced for the film making these vintage dice extremely rare and sought-after by collectors. Our reproduction props are professionally printed using the best quality materials. They are created using traditional film and television art department techniques for added authenticity and so are perfect for on-screen or display use.

Note: This listing is for a pair of unique genuine vintage Casino de Isthmus City dice. The film worldwide release was in 1989 so the dice in this auction have not been made for decades so once they are gone, they are gone!

Important Note: The dice having been manufactured by a major casino supplier all have been voided upon issue and so bear a light misspelled VODIED stamp between the dots of the two side. The dice are made of a semi-translucent red plastic and all feature the casino name foil-stamped in gold around the dot of the one face. Many also have a number on the six side aswell, although it is partly faded and not clearly visible on the majority of the ones that do. A handful of these 30-year-old dice have the odd teeny chip from manufacturing process which we have tried to show the general imperfections to expect in the pictures. This means that each pair of dice is not like the others and is entirely unique. The dice you will receive will be picked at random from the dice available and will not necessarily be the actual pair pictured but similar in appearance.

Trivia: Sanchez is from Isthmus City, a reference to the country of Panama, which lies on an isthmus, and the corrupt dictator Manuel Noriega, whom the C.I.A. were working very hard to oust at the time. He was eventually deposed by U.S. troops in the same year this film was released. Sanchez seems to be an on-screen representation of Colombian drug lord Pablo Escobar, who was terrorizing his country with bomb attacks and selective killing of Presidential candidates at the time of the movie's release.
