This is a rare opportunity to own this highly sought-after Cyberdyne Systems prop static cling / car window decal inspired by the cult movies! This reproduction prop is professionally printed using the best quality materials. It is created using traditional film and television art department techniques for added authenticity and so is perfect for on-screen or display use.
Note: This auction is for a premium-grade self-clinging white vinyl 'static clings' as pictured (the rear of the decals are white). 'Static clings' require no adhesive and are generally used for temporary interior installations such as window displays. They can be applied to be viewed from the inside or the outside of a window. They have no adhesive and can easily be removed, reused and repositioned. These circular ’static clings' measure approximately 95mm x 95mm.
Important Note: 'Static clings' are not weatherproof and tend to be used for temporary applications as temperature, wind and rain may limit their long-term cling ability.
Application Advice: Static clings adhere through suction with the natural static created on a surface. The window surface must be clean, smooth and as close to room temperature as possible as cold surfaces may reduce the cling of the vinyl. These window decals may be applied dry. (Larger decals should be applied by wetting the surface and the 'static cling' with glass cleaner or a soap and water mixture. For either dry or wet application, use a squeegee, credit card or something similar to smooth the decal onto the surface.)
Trivia: Production took sufficiently long that Edward Furlong's growth caused the production team to have to make certain adjustments during the shoot. He is noticeably younger in the desert scene than in other scenes. His voice began to break and had to be pitch adjusted in post-production. He had also grown quite tall over the months that, for one scene shot late in the production schedule, he had to stand in a hole in the ground in order to maintain continuity in height difference with Linda Hamilton.
